Pharoah Mudenha, a gifted self-taught artist born on 27 August 2003 in Mutare, Zimbabwe, is carving a name for himself in the world of contemporary African art. Growing up as the third-born in a family of five, he discovered his love for painting during his time at Muchena Secondary School. Despite lacking formal training, Pharoah’s dedication and creativity have allowed him to develop a distinctive style.
Pharoah’s work primarily focuses on African culture and the natural world, portraying the beauty and richness of rural life. He works with oils and acrylics on canvas, blending traditional themes with innovative ideas.
