Swiss-Zim Heritage Gallery successfully hosted An African Story, an extraordinary art exhibition in Dubai, from November 29th to December 13th, 2025, at the prestigious Andakulova Gallery. The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Zimbabwe through the masterful works of four renowned artists: Keith Zenda, Tonderai Mujuru, Barry Lungu, and Sampson Kuvenguhwa. Their exceptional pieces highlighted the vibrant stories, traditions, and spirit of Zimbabwe, connecting audiences to the beauty and depth of African art.
Opening VernissageThe exhibition opened with an exclusive vernissage on the evening of November 29th, where guests had the opportunity to meet the artists, enjoy exquisite African-inspired catering by Jackberries in Dubai, and immerse themselves in the diverse artworks. The atmosphere was one of celebration, creativity, and connection, as the gallery transformed into a space of cultural exchange and artistic inspiration.
Featured Artworks The exhibition showcased a diverse range of artistic expressions, including: Barry Lungu's powerful paintings, celebrating life and resilience through vivid colors. Sampson Kuvenguhwa’s sculptures, inspired by Shona traditions and his distinct ‘Dry Tree’ style. Tonderai Mujuru's wildlife-themed pieces, capturing the harmony between nature and humanity. Keith Zenda's evocative works, blending modern techniques with deep cultural narratives. Virtual AccessibilityIn addition to the physical exhibition, Artgal.Online launched a virtual exhibition that began on November 29th and will continue to run until March 15th, 2026.
